You know you've hit the big time when your "baby" goes from 'soft shoes' to 'real shoes.'

And you also know that you aren't paying close enough attention to your toddler when he comes toddling back over to you with a Cheerio crumb on his mouth. "Hmm...I didn't bring any Cheerios outside with us.." I tell myself.

Then I look over to the garage and under the car and see that someone has dumped an entire cup of Cheerios on the garage floor. And I'm just not sure how long it's been there. Or how many times I've parked in there and run over said Cheerios.
Germs? What germs?
He's taken off walking, and we've been outside or on the go ourselves all week in an effort to pass off dreary February. Library storytimes. Backyard fun. Driveway fun. We got in the wagon twice this week and walked up to our neighborhood pool and lake/deck (to throw 'starbursts' off the pier...found out they are actually called sweet gum balls. Who knew?!). I'm so excited to spend some time poolside this summer - though I'll be 8+ mos pregnant and ready to park it like a beached whale - I still think the kids are going to love it. I know, I'm dreaming. It'll be chaotic. And exhausting.

But, I'm ready. Very ready. We've got a FULL spring, and that's exciting to us. Good times to come.
Happy weekend!
**Thank you to the lovely Tegan for loaning me the cute red shoes seen above. I'll have them ready to give back if you need them :-)
